Well, it's done. The fifth rewrite is done. And it was a bit brutal. There were moments I didn't think I was going to finish it this year. But it's done.
It's still not a ready screenplay but it's closer. Closer to being ready for screen. Closer to being ready to show professionals.
Closer is good.
It's tighter than it was, it doesn't ramble as much. There are fewer characters who still say witty things. Lots gross stuff for those who like it.

Girl centric now that Samantha is my protag and Billy is her sidekick.
Left it with a nice open ending so I can write more.
I feel satisfied, for the moment.
Now it's off to the readers to evaluate and review.
But until then, I'm happy.
On to the next project.
